Eco Fashion Friday Rarity Style

We were thrilled to have Vanessa Lee Wishart enter our Trashfusion design contest last year, and can hardly wait to see what she comes up with this year!

We asked Vanessa what inspires her to create eco friendly pieces, here is what she said:

I chose to create reclaimed fashion because I have an appreciation for vintage fabrics and fashions.  I enjoy challenging myself, whether it’s using unconventional materials, vintage garments, or retro fabrics with limited yardage.  I want to show the world that recycling can be fun, and fashionable.  My biggest inspiration is my friends, family, boyfriend and most of all life.  I learn something new everyday, and I try to incorporate new ideas into my designs.
